Cans not Cannes

As you, know the team at Offshoot likes to hit the road. When we hit the road, it's hard. Some go west or south, but here's a look at the east. In the cold early summer of London town, incognito graffiti artist Banksy headlined the stencil art profiles at The Cans Festival. Also, artist like Faile & Bandit bombed the walls also. The take on the pieces were mainly socially inspired, if not random and jovial. After the jump take in some shots and for more background check this video.

French Connection

Here's another one from the depths of Hellz Bellz. This time they have touched France and linked up with L'equipe Black Rainbow. They have just dropped on their online store 50 womens and 50 mens, yes 50 mens, so this is the first men's drop, so make it happen boys. The store is stocked for now here.

One Week Away from Glowing In The Dark

We have been anticipating this for over a month and now it's a week away. The footage from SXSW had us amped on the triumphant return of N.E.R.D. Now, they have dropped the video for Everbody Nose

The Wackness

Um, Method Man, never ever try a Jamaican accent! The whole island community wants to know WHA GWAN!!!???

Custom Shooting

Some people in line up for hours to get what they want. Clothes, music and especially video games. Grand Theft Auto IV made that happen last week, not to be brazen we held off the image of Ceasar with the special edition GTA IV skinned Xbox 360 Elite FedEx'd to our compound. Yup one of the 500 worldwide. Unfortunately, this is not gonna be in the Offshoot compound, we're sticking to Galaga on the flat-screen.

Kardi's Looking Dangerous

This is our dude, yup Kardinal Offishall, from time we at Offshoot had known the heavy work ethic that would get Kardi in the right position to do some damage. Next to Akon & the Konvict roster, it's the look that you can't dismiss. LRG posterboys don't hail from north of the border, but let's be real, Offishall is International. Look it up! So check the new video where Kardi's reminiscing on that girl he had to let go, because she was poison, never trust a big butt and a smile right. Also, chicks rocking that Married To The Mob tend to be on their I.N.D.E.P.E.N.D.E.N.T. hustle, gotta love it or leave it alone. Check the cameos of DJ Khaled, Akon, Benny D, Clinton Sparks and then our local FireStarters Lindo P, D.O.C., and Solitair. It's the summer joint, again!

Pin-ups Tattooed

It's May in Toronto and that usually means the patios are getting packed and the Raptors get kicked out of the post season. Also, May for the past seven years means that the Contact Toronto Photography Festival takes over the galleries, cafes, lounges and other random public spaces. Great way to start the late spring is to take in the great weather on your way to a photo exhibit. Last night Offshoot represented at the Jerome Jenner Gallery for the Pin-Up Tattooed Show. This exhibit featured the work of Caitlin Free, Kareem Ajani and our O.G. insider Steve Carty. Check some shots of the shots from our trip to the Junction, after the jump.

Summer Mobness

MArried To The Mob BEach Towel

Care of the MOB misses and their Mobliving guide to being a brash chica, Summer is here early. Even though the line is expanding into a complete line in the fall, summer is full with fresh tees, logo belt & beach towel. As for the beach towel, guys please make it change. Meanwhile, the DILLIGAF is going nuts on the road, considering I was commenting on a MOB girl at a concert and getting the DILLIGAF attitude, crazy!

Cobrasnake Dance Party

The game has definitely changed, and can go in any direction at any moment. That's the gift the internet brings us. Anyone is a youtube or photograph away from being the next fameboy/girl. This is where TheCobraSnake aka Mark Hunter jumps in. Shooting party pictures all over the place, generally in the scenester venues where Ed Banger's or Aoki's jump off. Tomorrow, Mark's touching Wrongbar in gentrifying Parkdale, Toronto. It might not be worth the circumstance, but our folks, The Cansecos will be throwing down a set of their live dance-funk goodness. So get inline at Parkdale's new door. The Cansecos video below.
